Dear Friends,
For me a new journey has just begun! There is a very old Irish proverb that says "Making the beginning is one third of the work”. I believe we can learn new lessons at any time in our life, if we are willing to be a beginner. If we actually learn to like being a beginner, the whole world opens up to us! And that’s what I plan to do with my new venture CG Entertainment, which I launched recently. I want the world to see the immense talent that Nepal has in the entertainment field.
My dear friends, I am immensely proud and happy that the launch of my new entertainment company was very successful. I launched CG Entertainment along with my fourth album Only Love…, on 5 May, 2011, amidst a lot of fanfare! For the first time in Nepal, we had a never seen before laser show, which was enjoyed by each and every one present there that day.
It was a time of double celebration for me as it was also my dear father’s 90th Birthday on 4 May, just one day before the launch. I am
truly blessed to have been born to him and also to have him bless me in whatever I do. He’s been my inspiration and I pray to the almighty to keep him safe and healthy.
I have always dreamt of giving Nepal a one stop shop in entertainment. The world has to be made aware of the talent we have. My dream has finally come true. I am also overwhelmed that my album, Only Love…, has been very well received and the response has been tremendous! It encourages me to write more in the future.
I’ve spent half of my life being a businessman and like I mentioned earlier, now my daughter Megha is slowly taking over the business, I will have more time to pursue my dreams. I had been toying with the idea for some time but somehow never found the time to think about it seriously. However, I am very excited now about my new venture.
Lastly, I want to thank all my friends and well-wishers for taking out time and being present to encourage me at the launch and for all those who could not be present there that day, I will be putting up some pictures of the launch for all of you to see.
