30th Wedding Anniversary

Memories that will last a lifetime…

Celebrating a wedding anniversary can be a simple gift exchange or a romantic vacation but this was a little different. We recently celebrated our 30thwedding anniversary on 28 February with a little get together at Splash, the poolside restaurant at Radisson Hotel. The evening was specially designed by our lovely daughter Megha.

We celebrated this very important day of our life with some of our very close childhood friends who have been witness to our marriage and our life thereafter. Together we sat and talked about those good old days and it felt wonderful to re-live those days all over again.

Everybody brought out old pictures of time that has passed and shared some laughter and some good memories together. Megha had organized a beautiful cake for us to cut and there was champagne to celebrate the occasion. Our nephew Karan was very enthusiastic and busy taking pictures.

Our friend Suberna raised a toast for us with a little speech for the evening. It was a really touching moment that will be cherished always.

Many of our friends had not got the time to go through my website so I read out the thought bubble that I had written on my anniversary day to them. We watched all the 5 music videos from my album Reflections of Love, this was the first preview of the album. Everybody enjoyed it thoroughly.

The party ended at 11 pm with promises to meet more often. It was one of the most memorable evenings of our life… the memories of which will last me a lifetime!!
