"Finding God in everybody and everybody in God - is the ultimate goal and the philosophy of life"

I believe that society is there for me and therefore I must exist for society. With social responsibility deep rooted since my childhood, I possibly cannot visualize myself unconcerned by society, civics and culture. Being dedicated to society, being involved in social service and providing service to humanity gives a reason and direction to one’s life.

1. Shree Lunkaran Das-Ganga Devi Chaudhary Academy For Art and Literature:
For the promotion of Music, Art and Literature the Academy has instituted 3 categories of annual cash awards with citations. The following awards are being given to deserving artists and literati excelling in their respective fields.
- Saraswati Samman
- Itihas Shiromani Baburam Acharya Shodh Samman
- Narayan Gopal Sangeet Samman

All my life, I’ve felt this immense gratitude towards my parents, my tribute to my parents are immortalized through the announcement of the Ganga Devi Chaudhary Smriti Samman and Nepal Pratibha Puruskar which carry a Citation and Cash Prize.
The Academy also conducts regular seminars, symposiums, poetry and art festivals to provide the right thrust to the growth of art and literature in society.

2. Shree Lunkaran Das- Ganga Devi Chaudhary Charity Hospital:
Many years ago, my journey began among the people of this area. It has been my fondest wish to give back something to them in return. Shree Lunkaran Das-Ganga Devi Chaudhary Charity Hospital Established in 1994 is a project that touches my heart in so many ways. Medical treatment in this hospital is FREE for the economically underprivileged people of the Sunsari district in Eastern Nepal and is recognized as a hospital with a heart.

3. Norvic- Escorts International Hospital:
Norvic is another of my dream projects. Years ago, when there was a dearth of good hospitals in Nepal, I had to be admitted to one of the so called good hospitals in India. Those were bitter experiences. I then made a promise to myself that one day, when I was able; I would develop a world-class facility here in Nepal. A hygienic, medical centre where my countrymen could get world-class care and treatment at affordable prices. My Father with his sense of service, Dr. Naresh Trehan of Escorts-Heart Institute and Research Centre (Delhi) and Dr. Ravi R. Kasliwal, have been the source of inspiration and continued vision for Norvic.

4. Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT):
Among other social-work closest to my heart is the Pashupati Area Development Trust (PADT). Closely involved in each and every step of the development process, I have felt that this is a cause that has touched the hearts of Hindus all over the world.

During my tenure as Member secretary of PADT, I had an opportunity to initiate the Ten Year Development Master Plan to develop this Holy site as a major destination for Religious Tourism. In my one and half years of working, almost 60 percent of the Master Plan was completed.

The major task was to clear the unauthorized encroachment of the Shrine by the local community. Almost one hundred and twenty illegal constructions were demolished in and around the temple area. Today, everybody can see the change and feel the difference. This is the best social project I have been ever involved, which has given me immense satisfaction.
