For the promotion of Music, Art and Literature the Academy has instituted 5 categories of annual cash awards with citations. The following awards are being given to deserving artists and literati excelling in their respective fields.

- Saraswati Samman - Itihas Shiromani Baburam Acharya Shodh Samman - Narayan Gopal Sangeet Samman - Ganga Devi Chaudhary Smriti Samman for Women empowerement - Nepal Pratibha Puraskar for Youth Inspiration

All my life, I've felt this immense gratitude towards my parents, my tribute to my parents are immortalized through the announcement of the Ganga Devi Chaudhary Smriti Samman and Nepal Pratibha Puraskar which carry a Citation and Cash Prize of Rs. 1,01,000/- and Rs. 25,001/- respectively.

The Academy also conducts regular seminars, symposiums, poetry and art festivals to provide the right thrust to the growth of art and literature in society.
